• Increased sensitivity, awareness with a strong priority on creating tangible change that is responsive to the diverse needs of our students.
  • This includes addressing issues such as religious accommodation in schools and celebrations of multiculturalism.
• Creating more effective policies to reduce intimidation both inside and outside the classrooms.
  • This includes bullying, racism, and religious discrimination.
• High priority to fair representation from the community in the School Board.
  • I intend to hold quarterly meetings with the community to update and gain the critical feedback from community members on Board initiatives and changes.
• Curriculum awareness.
  • Critically examining the curriculum in our schools to ensure that it is accurate and representative of our world today.
• Increased access to daycare facilities for parents in the community.
• Stronger initiative to provide a Breakfast Program for our children to provide the best learning environment possible.
• More funding for the physically and mentally challenged students to increase access and environments more conducive to learning excellence.
• Stronger coordination of Parents Councils and communication with the Board.

Our children deserve the best and my experience and vision are my strengths. I strongly urge the community to make the right choice on November 13 and elect me, G. George as your Public School Trustee for Ward 7 & 8.
